Emerald Isles Cleanup
Morningside residents gathered on April 27 to clean up and beautify the median on E. Outer Drive. The annual effort is organized by Emerald Isles CDC, which builds community by transforming neglected spaces into beautiful and productive places that everyone can enjoy.
Balduck Park Gets a Whole New Look
Funding came from an almost $1 million donation from BCBS of Michigan through the Strategic Neighborhood Fund, and an additional $600,000 came from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA).
